1. Our Services
Makai Web provides website design, development, and ongoing website management on a month-to-month basis. There is no long-term contract. Your plan renews each month, and either party may cancel with 30 days notice before the next billing cycle.
2. Scope of Services (What We Do and Do Not Do)
Makai Web is a website building company. We design, build, and maintain your website, and we support the integration of external tools and platforms so they connect smoothly to and from your site (for example: scheduling tools, contact forms, analytics, chat widgets, and payment links).
We are not a marketing company. Our services do not include:
Creating content for social media, or managing social media accounts.
Building, running, or buying advertising or ad campaigns.
Setting up, configuring, or managing CRM systems or marketing automation platforms.
Where you use third-party tools like these, we will make sure they are properly connected to your website. Building out or managing those tools themselves is outside our scope, though we are always happy to provide a custom quote if you would like help beyond the integration.
3. What's Included Each Month
Your monthly plan includes:
Regular basic website changes, such as routine updates like text edits, image swaps, link updates, and minor content changes.
Up to 4 hours per month of additional work from our team, beyond those basic changes (for example: new sections, layout adjustments, or small feature updates).
Unused hours do not roll over to the following month.
4. Work Beyond the Included Hours
Any work that exceeds the 4 included hours in a given month is billed at our standard rate of $100 per hour. We will always confirm with you before starting any work that would go beyond your included hours, so there are never surprise charges.
